Nantai Mountain from Senjogahara

Along the path from Ryuzu Falls to Yuno Lake there are many views of Nantai Mountain.  It can get really cold when you are hiking.  The wind can gust over the moor / marshland at high speed since there are no trees to hold it back.

Many people do walk the paths during the winter so it is possible for most everyone.  Even though there was a meter of snow on the trail, enough hikers have walked the path so the snow is compressed.  You just need good boots.  Snow shoes aren’t necessary and neither are walking poles.
