Mt. Fuji from the peak of Mt. Nantai, Tochigi
If you’re lucky when you get to the top of Mt. Nantai, you will get a view of Mt. Fuji 170km away. We hiked in September and there were so many dragonflies. You can see some flying in the photographs.

Nantai Mountain hiking trail head, Futarasan Shrine Torii (gate)
The Torii (gate) is directly across from the Futarasan bus stop. It serves at both the shrine’s entrance and as the trailhead to hiking Nantai Mountain.
